Petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs: “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith conduct a review Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) based on the corrected final gradation list as on 01.04.2024, after removing all ineligible names, and grant promotion to the petitioners to the post of Head Master, Middle School, with effect from the date the promotions were granted to similarly situated teachers i.e. 07.11.2025, along with all consequential benefits including arrears of salary, increments, and seniority. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to revise the promotion list by 3 / 3 including the petitioners' names in place of the 9 removed ineligible teachers and issue appropriate posting orders within a time-bound manner, say within 4 weeks from the date of the order. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents that all available positions must be displayed during the counseling process, as per the guidelines and rules issued by the Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI), Raipur (C.G.) 10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deems fit and appropriate.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that joint representation submitted by petitioners Annexure P-10 is pending consideration and therefore a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to take decision on the pending representation at the earliest. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, she is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, without commenting anything on merit of writ petition, this petition at this stage is disposed off directing respondent No.2 to take decision on the pending representation dated 12.12.2025 (Annexure P-10) in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
