Learned counsel for petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire record pertaining to the steps taken pursuant to the proposal for amendment sent by the Directorate of Treasury, Accounts and Pension dated 02.08.2021 (Annexure P-6) for its kind perusal. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass an appropriate writ/order directing the respondent State to consider and 3 / 3 take a final decision on the proposal sent by the Directorate of Treasury, Accounts and Pension dated 02.08.2021 (Annexure P-6). 10.3 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court, may deem fit and proper, in the facts and circumstances of the case. 2. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners are Class-III employees and are governed by Chhattisgarh Subordinate Accounts Service (Class III) (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules 2011. He submits that some amendment is proposed in rules and the proposal for amendment is pending consideration before State Government since 08.02.2021 and no decision has been taken, therefore, petitioners are making limited prayer for issuance of direction to State Government to take decision on pending proposal at the earliest. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that petitioners are not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking direction to State Government to consider and take decision on pending proposal, he is having no objection, if proposal is pending consideration, it will be considered in accordance with law by the competent authority. 4. Heard learned counsel for respective parties and perused the documents enclosed along with this writ petition. 5. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage with a direction to respondent no. 1 to take decision on pending proposal for amendment forwarded by respondent no. 2 at the earliest, keeping in mind that the initial proposal was forwarded in the year 2021, if no decision is taken till now. 6.
