JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the application filed by the petitioner seeking regularisation of unauthorised occupation of 3 acres and 20 guntas in Survey No.22 of Vakkodi Village, Bellavi Hobli, Tumkur Taluk and District was rejected by the Committee, the petitioner filed an appeal before the Assistant Commissioner in proceedings bearing No.R.A.10/2016-17. The Assistant Commissioner allowed the appeal while setting aside the resolution passed by the Committee with a direction to - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7332 WP No. 3744 of 2026 reconsider the application filed by the petitioner. The said order was passed on 06.12.2017 and till date the application has not been reconsidered and no orders have been passed. Therefore, the prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent Nos.2 and 3 to reconsider the application in terms of the directions issued by the Assistant Commissioner. 3. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Tahsildar, Tumkur Taluk, to place the application of the petitioner for reconsideration before respondent No.2-Committee within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. Respondent No.2-Committee shall reconsider the application and pass necessary orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date when which the application is placed before the committee at the hands of respondent No.3- Tahsildar.
