The petitioner is an accused in connection with Bero P.S. Case No. 77 of 2024 corresponding to S.T. Case No. 734 of 2024. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 4345 of 2025. Submissions has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is in custody since 18.07.2024 and out of 11 charge sheet witnesses, 06 witnesses have been examined so far. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. There appears to be a specific allegation against the petitioner of committing assault on the son of the informant which resulted in his death and in view of the same, therefore, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
