2/29.05.2026 Heard Mr. Baibhaw Gahlaut, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Rikhiya P.S. Case No. 196 of 2023.
It has been alleged that 150 mm DI Pipe was being stolen and taken away on a truck which was intercepted and the driver of the truck had disclosed that the truck was being escorted by a Scorpio as well as Creta Vehicle and the petitioner is the owner of the Creta vehicle.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has been implicated on the disclosure made by the driver of the truck.
Learned counsel submits that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedents.
Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
Regard being had to the manner of the implication of the petitioner, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned JMFC, Deoghar in connection with Rikhiya P.S. Case No. 196

of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
This application stands allowed.
