Though, it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has been implicated only on the basis of the confessional statement of the co-accused persons and the allegations are general and omnibus in nature, but regard being had to the fact that the petitioner has criminal antecedent of a similar nature of offence, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
