--- 02/29.05.2026 Heard Mr. Rohan Mazumdar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P assisted by Mr. Nishant Kumar Roy, learned counsel for the informant. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Nirsa P.S. Case No.01 of 2026. It has been alleged that the informant was assaulted by the petitioner and others, who had demanded money from Rahul Singh and the informant was also fired upon. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature. It has further been submitted that the main allegation of firing is attributed to Yuvraj Singh and Suraj Singh.
Learned counsel submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties and the petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the informant has accepted the factum of the compromise entered into between the petitioner and the informant.
Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Dhanbad in connection with Nirsa P.S. Case No.01 of
2026.
This application stands allowed.
