The Petitioner has approached the Court with a short prayer that the matter pertaining to allotment of evacuee property in favour of the Petitioner and his brother, namely, Mohammad Fareed, is pending disposal before Respondent No.2, since the year 2015 and that despite lapse of considerable period of time, same has not been decided so far.
Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner shall feel satisfied in case the present Petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the application of the Petitioner, stated to be pending before it, within some reasonable timeframe.
In view of the short submission made by learned Counsel for the Petitioner, this Petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 2 to consider and expedite the proceedings in the application of the Petitioner-Mohd Younis and his brother-Mohammad Fareed, strictly as per rules, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months, from the date certified copy of this
order is made available to him.
Disposed of, along with connected CM.
