The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records in connection of the petitioner’s case. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent authorities to grant pension amount to the petitioner as per Employees Pension Scheme, 1995 within stipulated period. 2 10.3 Any other order that the Hon’ble Court deems fit and necessary in the circumstances of the case be also passed. 10.4 That, the cost of the petition be also awarded to the petitioners.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner superannuated from his services vide order dated 01.11.2016 and subsequent to his retirement, petitioner has submitted a representation for releasing his pension and other retiral benefits before the Respondent authorities, however, till date the respondent authorities have not released the pension of the petitioner and therefore, direction be issued to the respondent authorities to release the pension of the petitioner at the earliest. 3. Learned counsel for the Respondents submits that according to his instructions, the Food Corporation of India is to correct the Universal Account Number (UAN) of the petitioner and update his KYC and in turn Employee Provident Fund Organization is to release the pension of the petitioner on submission of form within 30 days from the date of submission of the form along with relevant documents. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondents to correct the Universal Account Number (UAN) of the petitioner and update his KYC and provide the same to the Employee Provident Fund Organization expeditiously, preferably within a period of 02 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, with co-operation of petitioner. 3 6.
