Choudhary, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. for the State. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Barwadih P.S. Case No. 27 of 2026. It has been alleged that a tractor was intercepted for illegally transporting sand. Subsequently, the petitioner and another accused have appeared and after forcibly breaking the lock of the tractor had rescued the driver from lawful custody and had also taken away the tractor. Though, it has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated only on suspicion, but it appears that it was the petitioner, who was the main person, who had obstructed the government officials in discharging their duty by releasing the driver from the lawful custody and as well as taking away the tractor. Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
