1. The present petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the
order dated 14th November, 2025, passed by the Division Bench of this Court in LPA No. 974/2024, titled as Bachan Singh Versus Govt. of NCT Delhi & Anr.

this Court to the said order dated 14th November, 2025, passed by the Division Bench, wherein, directions were passed in the following manner:
“1. Heard the learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Sameer Vashisht, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.
2. It has been informed that in response to the application made by the appellant seeking certain information, certain documents have been provided.

Learned counsel for the appellant however states that all the documents demanded by the appellant have not been provided. If that is so, the appellant can invoke the remedy of appeal under the Delhi Right to Information Act, 2001.
4. It is also submitted by learned counsel for the appellant that the photocopy of the documents provided is not legible. In that eventuality, we permit the appellant to move an appropriate application seeking inspection of the documents.
5. Mr. Vashisht has stated that if any such application seeking inspection of documents is moved, the appellant shall be permitted to inspect said documents.
6. In view of the aforesaid, nothing remains to be adjudicated any further in this appeal, which is hereby disposed of.”

By referring to the aforesaid order, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in view of the liberty granted by the Division Bench, an application for inspection of the documents was moved by the petitioner. However, no such opportunity has been granted to the petitioner till date.
4. Per contra, learned counsel appearing for the respondent on advance notice submits that a notice dated 31st July, 2026, for inspection of the documents has already been issued to the petitioner. He further submits that as per the said notice for inspection, the petitioner has been called for inspection of documents on 07th August, 2026.
5. The aforesaid statement made on behalf of the respondent is taken on record, and the respondent is held bound by the same. This is a digitally signed order. 6. Accordingly, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
