The petitioner is an accused in connection with Pocso Case No.78 of 2025 arising out of Simariya P.S. Case No.104 of 2025. The petitioner is alleged to have attempted to commit rape upon the informant. The petitioner is the Principal of the Rajkiya Anusuchit Jati Avasiya Balika Uchh Vidyalaya, Simariya. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is a delay of one month in lodging the first information report. Learned counsel further submits that on the completion of investigation, charge sheet has been submitted and the petitioner is in custody since 29.06.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that in the 183 of BNSS statement of the victim, she has supported the allegations. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO, Chatra in connection with Pocso Case No.78 of 2025 arising out of Simariya P.S.
