This court had directed the APP to get the instruction from the concerned Police Station, as to whether, any case has been registered against the petitioner and today when the matter is called up, Mr. K. K. Das, has placed an Page No.# 2/2 instruction dated 28.09.2026, received from the In-charge of Dhumerghat Police Outpost under Lakhipur Police Station, stating inter alia that, no case is registered against the petitioner, namely, Pulokesh Barman under the Lakhipur Police Station. As such, the learned counsel submits that the matter be closed. 3. Prayer is allowed. 4. The matter is closed and the instruction is placed on record. 5.
