By way of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner, who is the complainant in FIR No. 594/2024 dated 09.09.2024 registered at Police Station Subzi Mandi under Sections 354/354A/376/509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 4 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, seeks a direction for the time-bound completion of the further investigation and the filing of a supplementary police report. 2. Issue notice. Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned Additional Standing This is a digitally signed order. Mr. Puneet Jaiswal, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 7. 3. Mr. Tyagi, on instructions, submits that the investigation has been completed and the final report has already been filed. However, the matter is presently awaiting receipt of an additional Forensic Science Laboratory [“FSL”] report pertaining to the cloned data from the mobile phones of the concerned parties. The Investigating Officer [“IO”] is directed to pursue the matter with the FSL. It is expected that the requisite FSL report shall be furnished within a period of four weeks from today. 4. Mr. Tyagi further submits that upon receipt of the FSL report, the supplementary police report shall be filed before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks thereafter. 5. As no further orders are sought, the writ petition, alongwith pending application, stands disposed of. 6. Mr. Jaiswal, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 7, is also present. He submits that a petition filed by respondent No. 7 seeking further investigation is presently pending consideration before this Court. It is clarified that the present order concerns only the report already sought by the IO from the FSL, and shall not prejudice the rights and contentions of any of the parties in any other pending petition.
