The Officer-in-Charge, Katkamdag Police Station, District Hazaribagh 8. Sri Pankaj Kumar 9. Pradeep Prasad .... .... .... Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY For the Petitioner : Mr. Gaurav Priyadrashi, Advocate For the State : A.C. to Sr. S.C. I ------ Order No. 02 / Dated : 17.03.2026 Heard Mr. Gaurav Priyadrashi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.C. to Sr. S.C. I. 2. In the instant writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon respondent nos.1 – 7 to protect the petitioner’s life and personal liberty which is at stake on account of misdeeds of respondent nos.8 and 9. 3. The petitioner happens to be a practicing Advocate of this Court and it has been submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner that in order to grab the ancestral property of the petitioner, respondent nos.8 and 9 are taking every step to harm the petitioner and in fact criminal cases have been instituted against the petitioner and he has been granted bail by this Court. Learned counsel has also referred to the averments made in the instant writ application to indicate that the petitioner indeed has a huge tract of land as ancestral property upon which the respondent nos.8 and 9 have greedy eye. Representation according to the learned counsel for the petitioner has been submitted before the respondent no.6 as well as respondent no. 7, but the same has not been acted upon as yet. 4. I have also heard the learned A.C. to Sr. S.C. I. 5. It appears that the petitioner has already approached respondent no.6 for redressal of his grievance. In view of the above, this writ application 2026:JHHC:7346 stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation within a period of two weeks before the respondent no.6 and if such representation is filed, the respondent no.6 shall consider and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. If in case the grievance of the petitioner is found to be genuine, the respondent no.6 is at liberty to take appropriate measures. This writ application stands disposed of. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
