The petitioner is an accused in connection with NDPS Case No. 133 of 2025 arising out of Rail Ranchi P.S. Case No. 25 of 2025(N), pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Ranchi. The petitioner was apprehended by the police and 20 Kg. of Ganja was recovered from his possession. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the weight of 20 Kg. includes the weight of wrapper also and the petitioner is in custody since 09.07.2025, but regard being had to the fact that a commercial quantity of Ganja was recovered, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
