The Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for brevity, ‘the Cr.P.C.’)/Section 528 of the

Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity, ‘the BNSS’), seeking a direction to the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Cheepurupalli, Vizianagaram District, to take an appropriate decision on the complaint filed by the Petitioner under Section 210 read with Section 223 of ‘the BNSS’, vide DDR No.7733 dated 26.12.2025, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Perused the record.
3. Mr. Ghantasala Udaya Bhaskar, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the Petitioner filed a complaint before the jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 210 read with Section 223 of ‘the BNSS’ on 26.12.2025, but the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Cheepurupalli, Vizianagaram, has not taken any steps for disposal of the complaint in accordance with law.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Cheepurupalli, Vizianagaram, is directed to dispose of the complaint dated 26.12.2025, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, and submit a report to the Registrar (Judicial) within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
