2026:JHHC:15762 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A. B. A. No. 2817 of 2026 --- Ramashish Kumar … … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand … … Opposite Party --- CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --- For the Petitioner : Mr. Rajesh Kr. Singh, Advocate For the Opposite Party : A.P.P. --- 2/29.05.2026 Heard Mr. Rajesh Kr. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Simariya P.S. Case No. 207 of 2025. It has been alleged that the petitioner had misappropriated an amount of Rs.60,660/- of Cashpor Micro Credit Company. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that in order to grant excess loan, the petitioner had taken small amount from various beneficiaries, therefore, it cannot be said that there has been a defalcation on the part of the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the submission of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the defalcation amount being only to the tune of Rs.60,660/-, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender in the learned trial court within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra in connection Simariya P.S. Case No. 207 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. This application stands allowed. 29.05.2026 (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J) Sangam/-
