It is the contention of the petitioner that petitioner's husband was granted 14 guntas of land pursuant to his application filed for regularization of unauthorized occupation in Sy.No.45 of Kogilahalli Village, Kasaba Hobli, Kolar Taluk and District in the year 1967-68. Saguvali Chit was issued in the name of Sri.Mohammed Yousuf Shariff on 15.09.1967. However his name is not entered in the revenue records. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12557 WP No. 20418 of 2024 3. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue necessary direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner's husband in the revenue records. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 – Tahasildar, Kolar Taluk to consider the representations given by the petitioner at Annexures-G and H dated 09.01.2001 and 09.01.2023, verify the records and find out whether late Sri.Mohammed Yousuf Shariff was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of Sri.Mohammed Yousuf Shariff, and Saguvali Chit was issued to him then the Tahsildar shall enter the name of Sri.Mohammed Yousuf Shariff in the land records. Subsequent to that the Tahsildar shall look into the aspect of the legal heirs of Sri.Mohammed Yousuf Shariff and after verifying the same he shall proceed to enter the name of the legal heirs of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12557 WP No. 20418 of 2024 Sri.Mohammed Yousuf Shariff as may be required in accordance with law.
