The petitioner is an accused in connection with Saiko PS Case No. 20/2024. It has been alleged that a dead body was found in a river and having identified the dead body, allegation has been levelled that the deceased was having an illicit relationship with the petitioner, which resulted in a conspiracy and the consequent murder. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there are no eye-witnesses to the incident and only on the basis of suspicion, the petitioner has been implicated. It has further been submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired on the confessional statement of co-accused Ladura Purti who has been granted bail in B.A. No. 7147 of 2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that on the confession of the petitioner, a knife was recovered from his house. However, he is unable to state as to whether there has been an ascertainment that the knife, which was recovered on the confession of the petitioner, was used in the commission of murder. On consideration of the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Khunti in connection with Sessions Trial No.54/25, arising out of Saiko PS Case No. 20/2024, corresponding to G.R.
