Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a landless farmer and Gram Panchayat Badrah (B), Tahsil Pathariya, Distt. Mungeli granted land bearing Khasra No.481 area 15 acres to the petitioner under the employment guarantee scheme and he has been in possession of the said land for the past 30 years and in this regard concerned Gram Panchayat has issued certificate in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner has planted trees in the aforesaid land. He further submits that the petitioner has filed application dated 22.01.2026 (Annexure-P/8) before the Collector, Mungeli/respondent No.2 for grant of Patta of the aforesaid land, but the same has not been decided yet. Hence, it is prayed that this petition may be disposed of at this stage, directing respondent No.2 to decide the application of the petitioner expeditiously. 3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection on the limited prayer of the petitioner. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record 5. Having considered the limited prayer of the petitioner, this petition is disposed of at this stage, directing respondent No.2/the Collector, Mungeli Distt. Mungeli (CG) to decide the application dated 22.01.2026 (Annexure-P/8) filed by the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3 6.
