Heard Mr. Arvind Prajapati, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. 2. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Hussainabad P.S. Case No. 181 of 2025. 3. When the informant and another had objected to the accused persons, ploughing their field, they along with their son and daughter were subjected to assault. 4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR has been lodged after seven days. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner had also lodged a counter case against the informant party being Hussainabad P.S. Case No. 180 of 2025. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner had assaulted Chhotu Kumar with a lathi. Learned counsel submits that there was a land dispute between the parties which resulted in the incident. It has also been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 11.04.2026. 5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that the petitioner had assaulted Chhotu Kumar with a lathi which resulted in grievous injury. 6. Regard being had to the fact that there is a land dispute between the parties and there was a free fight which resulted in institution of a case and counter case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Palamau, in connection with Hussainabad P.S.
