The petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking directions to respondents no.2 to 4 to release the detenue- Davinder Kumar son of Jagdish Chander (elder brother of the petitioner) R/o village Dadupur Roran, District Karnal, who has been illegally detained by respondents no.3 and 4 at the instance of respondent no.5 to plant him in some false criminal case. It is further prayed that warrant officer be appointed to search and get the detenue released from the illegal detention of respondents no.3 and 4. 2. On 12.4.2026, a warrant officer came to be appointed by this Court on the plea raised by the petitioner. A report dated 16.4.2026 has been produced by the warrant officer in a sealed cover.
