The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Bariyatu P.S. Case No. 03 of 2026. It has been alleged that the petitioners were involved in illegal cultivation of poppy plants. Though, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the several co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail, but it appears that all the petitioners have criminal antecedents of similar nature of offence and considering the same, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
