The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ of mandamus of any other writ or order or direction directing the Respondents to consider the Bills of Petitioner as per Annexure-D & F for seniority to release payment effect from 11.05.2023 instead of 06.07.2024 and consequently directing the Respondent No.1 to modify its Order dated 25.06.2024 as per Annexure-J to consider the seniority from 11.05.2023. b) Grant such other and further relief or reliefs which this Hon’ble Court may deemed fit to grant under the circumstances of the case. 2. The short grievance of the petitioner is that the bills which had been submitted by the petitioner for the works carried out in furtherance of the work order issued have not been considered and payment made. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13987 WP No. 23384 of 2025 3. Whenever any bills are submitted by a contractor to employee, it is but required that those bills are considered as per the contractual documents and necessary orders passed within a reasonable period of time either accepting or rejecting the bills. Needless to say, in either case, to be accompanied by reasons. In the present matter, the bills having been submitted on 11.05.2023, which are yet to be considered, I pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is partly allowed. ii. Respondents are directed to consider the bills submitted by the petitioner and pass necessary orders within a periodof 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. iii.
