Heard Mr. R.S. Mazumdar, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Deepak Kumar Bharti learned counsel appearing for the C.B.I. 2. The Petitioners are accused in connection with R.C. Case No. 04 (A)/26-R. 3. The petitioners are alleged to have forcibly stopped the construction work of an apartment and had demanded an illegal gratification of Rs. 5,00,000/-. The complainant has given an amount of Rs. 50,000/- to the petitioners but the demand continued unabated. A complaint was made and on verification, the allegations were found to be true, after which a trap raid was laid and the petitioners were caught red-handed while accepting the tainted money of Rs. 50,000/-. 4. Submission has been advanced by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners that petitioner no. 1 is the Havildar of Defence Land N.O.C. R&O FLT Unit, Ranchi, and petitioner no. 2 is the nephew of 2 petitioner no. 1. It has been submitted that, on completion of investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted and the petitioners are in custody since 02.02.2026. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the C.B.I. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioners and the fact that charge sheet has been submitted, the petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-I-cum-Special Judge, C.B.I., Ranchi in connection with R.C.
