The Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in conducting the election dated 30.03.2026 to the post of Chairman/President of Narendrapuram Fisheries Cooperative Society Limited No.C-17 as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner is a Member of Narendrapuram Fisheries Cooperative Society Limited. While so, elections were scheduled to be conducted for the post of the Chairman/President on 30.03.2026. The Petitioner, who was an aspirant, had filed his nomination. It is stated that initially the elections were notified to be held at the S.C. Community Hall, but the Elections Hall was shifted to the Village Panchayat Office (Gram Sachivalayam) without proper notice to the members of the Society. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the Petitioner had submitted an application on 31.03.2026 and the same would be considered by the Respondent Authorities. 4. Heard the respective counsel. 5. Considering the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions: 4 i) The Respondents are directed to examine the representation of the Petitioner dated 31.03.2026 and take appropriate decision thereon as expeditiously as possible. ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
