The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 333 of 2025. It has been alleged that the informant had invested in the company of the brother-in-law of the informant, but when the money was demanded, an agreement was entered into that the amount will be paid by 30.07.2025, but the same had not been adhered to. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner save and except the fact that an amount of Rs.7750/- was transferred by the informant to his account. Learned counsel submits that the main allegation of duping the informant is upon his brother-in-law namely Yuvraj Sao. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the limited role of the petitioner as depicted by the prosecution with respect to an amount of Rs.7750/- having been transferred to his account though learned counsel submits that there is no such proof of transfer, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra in connection 2026:JHHC:15693 with Sadar P.S. Case No. 333 of 2025 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. This application stands allowed.
