ORAL ORDER (PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIJAYKUMAR A. PATIL)
This Writ Petition Habeas Corpus is filed seeking the following reliefs:
"a) Issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondent No.3 & 4 to Produce the Detenue before this Hon'ble Court in the Interest of Justice. b) Pass any order/s as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."
2. The mother of the detenue has filed this petition stating that respondent No.4-Police illegally arrested his son on 17.02.2026. 3. Sri.B.A.Belliappa, learned SPP-I appearing for respondents-State, on advance notice, submits that the son of the petitioner is involved in number of crimes and he has been apprehended in Crime No.680/2025 by respondent No.4 - Police and he has been produced before the learned Magistrate on 18.02.2026.

4. The alleged detenue is arrested in Crime No.680/2025, hence, the assertion of the petitioner with regard to illegal detention cannot be considered. Now the detenue having been arrested and produced before the learned Magistrate, it is open for the accused or the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 5.
