For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 02/29.05.2026 Heard Mr. Shekhar Prasad Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Topchanchi P.S. Case No. 26 of 2026. The accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the father-in-law as well as several other members of the family of the informant. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the accused persons were also assaulted by the informant party for which Topchanchi P.S. Case No.32 of 2026 had been registered. Learned counsel submits that several accused persons have been granted bail in B.A. 2392 of 2026, B.A. No. 2463 of 2023. It has been submitted that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature and the petitioner is in custody since 03.04.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M, Dhanbad in connection with Topchanchi P.S.
