The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Giridih (M) P.S. Case No. 77 of 2026. It has been alleged that accused persons including the present petitioner had committed an assault upon the informant which resulted in her suffering grievous injuries. Though, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was not the main person, who had inflicted injury upon the informant, but it appears that so far as the present petitioner is concerned, he had assaulted with a rod near her ear which had led to fracture of zygomatic arch and the injuries found upon the person of the informant was opined to be grievous in nature. Regard being had to the specific nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
