Heard Mr. G. Lomi, learned counsel for the petitioners.
The present petition was filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 seeking quashing and setting aside of the criminal proceeding of G. R. Case No. 33/2026 arising out of Nyapin Case No.01/2026 under Section 305/331(2)/324(3)/3(5) of BNS.
However, Mr. Lomi, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that vide an order dated 15.09.2026, all the accused applicants have been acquitted by the learned trial court therefore, the matter has become infructuous, and it is prayed that the instant criminal petition be permitted to be withdrawn as having become infructuous.
Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the prayer is allowed.
The instant criminal petition stands disposed of as having become infructuous.
