The petitioner is an accused in connection with POCSO Case No. 28 of 2026 arising out of Rajmahal P.S. Case No. 55 of 2026. The petitioner is alleged to have committed rape upon the 13 year old daughter of the informant. It has been submitted that the victim in her statement recorded u/s 183 BNSS has stated that the petitioner had entered into her house and tried to outrage her modesty, but when she raised an alarm, the petitioner had fled away. She has further stated that she was acquainted with the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 15.02.2026. In view of the 183 BNSS statement of the victim, which dilutes the allegation of commission of rape made against the petitioner in the First Information Report, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge- I-cum-Special Judge (POCSO Act), Sahibganj in connection with POCSO Case No. 28 of 2026 arising out of Rajmahal P.S.
