This petition has been filed for the following relief: "Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 pay arrear of salary of the petitioner ice 26.2.1998 to 2000 to the petitioner within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble court." 3. The petitioner is claiming arrears of salary of the year 1998-2000 and there is no explanation of laches. 4. In view of the above, the petition is badly barred by laches, therefore, I am not inclined to interfere in the matter. 5. Accordingly, the instant petition is dismissed.
