The petitioner is an accused in connection with Pandwa P.S. Case No. 13/2026. The son of the informant was assaulted by the villagers by tying him with rope which resulted in his death. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of a co- accused. It has been submitted that the petitioner is aged about 72 years and his implication arises on account of the fact that the deceased was having an affair with the granddaughter of the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 23.02.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Daltonganj in connection with Pandwa P.S.
