The case of the petitioner, as set out in the petition, is that he had filed an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 seeking information regarding alleged misuse of public funds by the Delhi Development Authority in procurement of earthworms for Najafgarh Park. Dissatisfied with the reply furnished by the concerned CPIO, the petitioner had preferred a First Appeal and thereafter a Second Appeal before the Central Information Commission (CIC), alleging that complete information had not been furnished. 4. It is stated that in Second Appeal, the CIC directed the concerned CPIO to furnish complete information to the petitioner or, in the alternative, to file a notarised affidavit regarding its non-availability. According to the petitioner, the said directions were not complied with, whereupon he filed a non-compliance/contempt petition bearing Diary No. 118766 dated 29.05.2025 before the CIC. Though notice is stated to have been issued in the said proceedings, the grievance of the petitioner is that the matter has not been listed or decided thereafter, despite repeated representations seeking an early hearing. The petitioner has, therefore, approached this Court, inter alia, seeking expeditious disposal of the aforesaid non-compliance proceedings and enforcement of the earlier order passed by the CIC. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that the present writ petition be treated as representation, which will be decided by the respondents within a period of ten weeks from date, under intimation to the petitioner. 6. It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. In case the petitioner is aggrieved by any further order, he This is a digitally signed order.
