He has submitted an online application on 27.01.2026 to the official respondents seeking for survey, sub division and issuance of separate patta in his name. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the fifth respondent. Since no adverse order is being https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 14450 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 6 passed against respondents 6 and 7, notice to respondents 6 and 7 is dispensed with by this Court. 4.No prejudice will be caused to the official respondents if the said authorities are directed to consider the online application dated 27.01.2026 submitted by the petitioner seeking for survey, sub division and issuance of patta for the lands, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of respondents 6 and 7 as well as any other party whom they deem it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s online application. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by issuing the following directions: a)Respondents 3 and 4 are directed to survey and sub divide the lands, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; b) If the petitioner is eligible for the issuance of separate patta in his name for the property surveyed and sub divided by respondents 3 and 4, the third respondent shall issue patta for the property in favour of the petitioner, within a https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 14450 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 period of six weeks from the date when the survey and sub division of the lands are completed, after hearing the objections of respondents 6 and 7 as well as any other party whom they deem it fit to enquire; (c)If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the third respondent, the fifth respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.
