The petitioner is an accused in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No. 235/2025. It has been alleged that some miscreants had entered into the crusher plant of the informant and had made air-firing. The pamphlets of PLFI were left at the site demanding extortion money of Rs. 20,00,000/-. The petitioner appears to have been implicated on the confession of a co-accused. No Test Identification Parade has been held. It also appears that the petitioner has got 12 criminal antecedents, out of which in eight, he has already been acquitted. The petitioner is in custody since 19.03.2026. Regard being had to the manner of implication of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Khunti P.S.
