The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sisai P.S. Case No.03/2026, corresponding to G.R. Case No.137/2026. It has been alleged that the sister-in-law of the informant along with her paramour had committed the murder of her husband and had concealed the dead body. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confessional statement of co-accused Sitaram Oraon as well as sister-in-law of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that save and except the confession, there are no other materials which would indicate about the participation of the petitioner in committing the murder of the brother of the informant. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the manner of implication of the petitioner, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with 2026:JHHC:15431 Sisai P.S. Case No.03/2026 corresponding to G.R. Case No.137/2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. This application stands allowed.
