For the O.P. : Spl.P.P. --- 02/26.05.2026 Heard Mr. Indrajit Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Chira Chas P.S. Case No.147 of 2025. It has been alleged that on 30.11.2025, the son of the informant had gone out for work and in the evening, the petitioner had come and kept all the belongings of the son of the informant and went away. After 30 minutes, the petitioner had asked the daughter of the informant to come to the police station with the Aadhar Card of the son of the informant in order to lodge a missing report. It has also been alleged that on 01.12.2005, the informant came to know about an unidentified dead-body being recovered and on enquiry, the dead-body was identified to be that of the son of the informant. As per the confession of the petitioner, the body of the deceased was taken in the Swift Car and dumped in the forest. The Swift Car was subsequently seized and it had blood- stains. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is only circumstantial evidence so far as the petitioner is concerned but regard being had to confession of the petitioner and the subsequent recovery of blood-stains in the Swift Car which was seized and the entire gamut of allegations levelled in the F.I.R. which indicates a strong circumstance of the petitioner committing the murder of the son of the informant, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
