The petitioner is an accused in connection with Spl. POCSO Case No. 35/2025 arising out of Pakartanr P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025. The daughter of the informant was abducted by the petitioner who had subjected her to rape. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in course of trial the victim has been examined as P.W. 1 and she has failed to identify the petitioner. It has further been submitted that the mother of the victim has also been examined as P.W. 2 and she has been declared hostile by the prosecution. The petitioner is in custody since 04.10.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the evidence of P.W.1 and P.W.2 which virtually demolishes the allegations levelled against the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO, Simdega in connection with Spl.
