The writ petition SWP No. 3427/2019 preferred by 22 petitioners came to be disposed of in terms of an order dated 20.09.2019 with a direction to the writ respondents to accord consideration to the claim of the writ petitioners having regard to the Govt. Order No. 940-Edu of 2017 dated 17.11.2017 read with SRO 339 dated 20.12.2005 provided the same being applicable to the case of the petitioners and they being eligible. Sr. No. 52 Suppl. 2 cause list CM No. 3916/2026 in CCP(S) No. 269/2020 02. Complaining that the needful exercise at the end of the writ respondents was not being carried out, out of array of 22 petitioners, 9 petitioners came forward with the institution of the present contempt petition in December, 2020 which has remained pending on the docket of this Court all along the years. 03. Now the petitioners in the contempt petition are coming forward seeking withdrawal of present contempt petition for enabling them to challenge Govt. Order No. 360- JK (Edu) of 2023 dated 13.11.2023 as being the consideration order passed in compliance to the writ court directions. 04. The petitioners are seeking withdrawal of their contempt petition with liberty reserved in their favour to challenge the consideration order above referred. 05. Application is allowed. 06. Contempt petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty reserved in favour of the present contempt petitioners only to resort to an appropriate legal course of action with respect to their grievance, be it individual or collective, against the Govt. Order No. 360-JK (Edu) of 2023 dated 13.11.2023 and the time spent during the pendency of this contempt CM No. 3916/2026 in CCP(S) No. 269/2020 petition shall not come in the way of the present contempt petitioners with respect to their next legal course of action for which the liberty is hereby being given. 07.
