By way of instant application, prayer has been made on behalf of the applicant/petitioner for condonation of delay in filing the accompanying petition, which is barred by limitation.
Ms. Shashi Kiran, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the non-applicant/respondent. She states that on account of the ongoing talks between the parties with regard to amicable settlement, non-applicant/respondent shall have no objection in case prayer made in the application is allowed.
Having taken note of afore statement made by
learned counsel for the non-applicant/respondent, coupled with the fact that the parties have decided the matter amicably interse them, this Court sees no reason in condoning the delay, which in my considered view has been sufficiently explained, is condoned. The petition be registered. The application stands disposed of.

Notice. Ms. Shashi Kiran, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent.
Learned counsel representing the petitioner states that the parties are in process of settling their dispute amicably interse them and, in furtherance of the same, the petitioner
undertakes to pay/deposit the entire amount of compensation awarded by learned trial Court within a period of four weeks.
While fairly acknowledging factum with regard to compromise arrived interse parties, learned counsel for the respondent states that she has no objection in case the matter is adjourned by four weeks, enabling petitioner to deposit the amount of compensation as warded by learned trial Court.
In view of the above, list this matter on 19.08.2026, but till then, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner, in terms of the judgment of conviction and order of sentence recorded by learned trial Court. On the next date of hearing, petitioner shall remain present in Court.
