W.P.(C) 11487/2026 3. By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayers: “a. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction directing Respondent No. 2 -· The· Defence Secretaiy, Ministry of Defence and Respondent No. 3 - The Director General Defence Estates to consider and decide the Petitioner's respective representations dated 18.06.2026, by passing reas~ned and speaking order, in accordance with law, within such time as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit. b. Direct that while deciding the aforesaid· representations, Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 shall duly consider the Brief Legal Note and the documents enclosed with the representations, including the Office • Memoranda issued by the Legislative Department and the Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law . & Justice, arid shall This is a digitally signed order. No one appears on behalf of the respondents when the matter is taken up for hearing at 11:00 AM. 5. The petitioner, who appears in person, states that he had submitted a representation dated 18.06.2026 to respondent Nos. 2 and 3, along with a legal note, relevant notifications and the Office Memorandum issued by the Ministry of Law & Justice. However, the said representation has not yet been decided. 6. Having heard the petitioner appearing in person and considering the issue involved in the present petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct that the present petition be treated as a representation, in addition to the representation dated 18.06.2026 already submitted by the petitioner before respondent Nos. 2 and 3. The respondents are directed to consider and decide the same, if permissible under the applicable rules/procedure, within a period of eight weeks from today, under intimation to the petitioner. 7. In the above terms, the present petition stands disposed of. 8. In case the petitioner has any further grievance, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court by way of fresh writ petition. 9.
