The petitioner is an accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 124 of 2025. It has been alleged that levy was demanded from the informant and in case of non-fulfilment, threat was issued of eliminating the informant. It appears that some of the co-accused persons have been granted bail in B.A. No.8740 of 2025 and B.A. No. 10837 of 2025. The petitioner seems to have been implicated only on the basis of confession of co-accused person. Though, the petitioner has got several criminal antecedents but in 05 cases, he has been acquitted. The petitioner is in custody since 29.01.2026. Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Gumla P.S.
