The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 291 of 2025 arising out of Katkamdag P.S. Case No. 47 of 2025. It has been alleged that an officer of NTPC was shot by some unknown miscreants leading to his death. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of co-accused Mintu Paswan and various incriminating articles were recovered on the said confession. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing has been asserted to show that the motorcycle seized from the possession of the petitioner was used in the commission of murder. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 24.03.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the manner of the implication, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII, Hazaribagh in connection with S.T.
