1. The only prayer made in the present petition is for a direction to the Respondent/Department to expeditiously pass a speaking order on the Petitioner's application seeking cancellation of its GST registration, which was submitted on 27.05.2026.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent submits that the Petitioner's firm reflects a turnover of ₹90 crores during a period of nine months. It is further submitted that the Petitioner's application for cancellation of GST registration shall be decided within a period of two weeks from today. However, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the aforesaid submission does not address the information sought.
