The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Chirkunda P.S. Case No. 44 of 2026. It has been alleged that on account of the distribution of Prasad during Shivratri, a scuffle had ensued out and some miscreants had come and assaulted the informant and his family members. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the scuffle has taken place on account of a sudden provocation. It has been submitted that the victim had sustained simple injuries. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners. Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the petitioners above named are directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, they shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 2026:JHHC:15464 2 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M. Dhanbad in connection with Chirkunda P.S. Case No. 44 of 2026 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
