Sohan Lal v. Rakesh Kumar CrMP No. 2748 of 2026 in Cr.R. No. 151 of 2024 10.07.2026 Present: Mr. Hemant Kumar Sharma, Advocate, for the non- applicant/petitioner. Mr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Advocate, for the applicant/respondent. By way of instant application, prayer has been made by the applicant/respondent for release of amount lying deposited with the Registry of this Court. Non- applicant/petitioner has no objection qua the prayer made in the instant application. Otherwise also, this Court finds that while passing judgment dated 30.3.2026 in Cr.R. No. 151 of 2024, this court had directed the learned trial Court to release the amount, if any, deposited before it by the accused on filing appropriate application by the complainant. It appears that amount to the extent of 30% has been deposited by the accused in the Registry of this Court. Though in terms of afore order, amount lying deposited with the learned trial Court has been already released in favour of the respondent/complainant, but 30% of the amount lying deposited with the Registry of this Court has been not released for want of directions issued by this Court. Consequently, in view of the above, present application is allowed and Registry is directed to release the amount lying deposited before it along with up-to-date interest in favour of the applicant/respondent, by remitting the same in his saving ban account, as detailed in para-3 of the application, subject to verification. The application is disposed of. July 10, 2026 (Sandeep Sharma), manjit Judge
