The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.5-Tahsildar has failed to issue saguval chit in favour of the petitioner despite the land in question - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12608 WP No. 6882 of 2026 being granted at the instance of respondent No.3-Special Land Acquisition Officer for the Hemavathi Reservoir Project under the scheme of rehabilitation by order dated 06.06.2011 at Annexure-D. The prayer, therefore, is to issue necessary directions to respondent No.5-Tahsildar, Arkalagud Taluk to consider the representations given by the petitioner at Annexure-F1 commencing from 25.03.2025 to Annexures-F4 dated 07.01.2026. 3. Having regard to the contentions raised by the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.5-Tahsildar, Arakalagud Taluk, to verify from the records as to whether such an order has been passed at the instance of respondent No.3- Special Land Acquisition Officer. If it is found true that the claim of the petitioner is genuine, then respondent No.5- Tahsildar shall proceed to issue saguvali chit to the petitioner after collecting the requisite fee/ maramalki and thereafter, enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12608 WP No. 6882 of 2026 4.
